ENHANCING RESILIENCE IN SCHOOLS THROUGH ECOLOGICAL AND AGROFORESTRY PROJECT
Hope Ministries International with funding from Sustainable Innovations is implementing an agroforestry project in schools and communities of Namadidi TA Mlumbe Zomba. The project is targeting group village Headmen Kaunda, Mchinjo and Lifer. The schools which are being targeted in this project are, Namadidi, Namajoka and Mbedza. The project aims at introducing hands on approach on addressing some of the challenges of the effects of climate change and environmental degradation using primary school going students through their environmental clubs which were established and revamped in the projects, with the aim to equip them with skills in environmental management and sustainable agriculture so that they will be able to tackle issues of climate change in the future.
